Happy for Scotland, I felt all the rub of the green went France’s way. They couldn’t convert a huge penalty difference into a win and Scotland played fantastic defensively.

Wouldn't have scored if France had kicked it out when they had possession with the clock in the red. Crazy decision.

Great and well deserved win for Scotland. They stuck to their game plan from the first minute, playing at tempo and turning down kicks at goal for kicks to the corner. France played their part in a cracking game but I think last week’s match against Wales took its toll in the last quarter. Great to see Scotland winning a game which was cancelled through no fault of their own, despite then being unfairly penalised by not having all their players available as the match was outside of the original 6 nations window.
The tournament has had everything from countless yellow and red cards, controversial decision, tight games won by a score, and a Welsh championship (thoroughly deserved too). Despite a great season for the Scottish and Welsh national sides, this championship doesn’t hide the fact that the club/regional playing scenes in both countries is in a poor way, but then we all know as far as the unions are concerned, there’s only one team that counts.

Quite why the union governing bodies pursue this stupid policy is anyone’s guess. With the money in the game, it requires proper expertise at the top. Otherwise, the money gets misused and it all ends in tears.

Andy nichol and inverdale were saying the sums involved in compensating clubs for players was hundreds of thousands,i bet the regions don't get that when the wru play extra friendlies a week before vital european games.

It was a great win for Scotland - and probably the best ever 6N tournament, with any number of spectacular tries and games going down to the wire - well done to all concerned, and especially to Wales for bouncing back after a poor set of results in the Autumn.
I think Wales deserved the championship for some excellent tries and gutsy performances. As for the finish to yesterday's game - both sides had a 6-day turnaround, Scotland had to travel - so the 'French tired by short turnaround' excuse doesn't wash. There was no reason for them to be 'more tired' than the Scots, except for lower fitness levels. Also, some have pointed out (on another forum) that France would have won if Dulin had kicked to touch at the end. True enough - but Wales would still have been champions as France needed to win by 21 points... so my response to that is: "So what?" In any case, I feel the Scots deserved that bit of luck to make up for the number of kickable penalties they turned down in order to go for tries... if they'd kicked all those pens, they'd already have been far ahead by the last minute! Beth bynnag - llongyfarchiadau, Cymru!

Just a quick one that really annoys me. Scotland conceded a penalty about a meter outside the french 22. France scored, after a few phases, from the line out but the penalty kick to touch was closer to the 10m line than the 22. I’m not one for football but I think it’s time the refs had a bottle of that spray to mark where the ball is kicked from as they gained a huge advantage.

Wa a great game again hats off to Scotland. Ritchie was outstanding in defence good honest player not flash but so tough. A word with JB to get him down to us for few seasons would not go amiss.
The weather last night in Paris is proof if it was ever needed that god is indeed Welsh.
