I think his rating has risen on here too....Hes in charge at the lineout, hes effective in the tight exchanges with size and work rate and has shown up in the wide channels with some crisp passes. Hes exceeded my expectations, hes got a touch of the charteris about him. Hill is another player who surprised me over the years, very industrious mobile versatile lock/flanker. He reminds me of rob sidoli an under rated hard working forward.

I have always rated the guy but, for some, if you play across the bridge you have to be a lot better to get credit unless, of course, your name is Mark Orders.

I think he's suffered from inconsistency - when he's good, he's very effective, as we have seen recently.

He was told what he needed to by Pivac to get back into the International mix & he went back to the Ospreys, worked hard & produced better performances. I always said he wasn't playing to his full potential but he does seem to be getting there now.

I wasn't aware until the England game of how good a passer of the ball Beard is.Not an attribute associated with many locks, and credit to the coaches for utilising this facet of his game.

Wales are playing well and everything, but my god Italy are terrible. Certainly don’t deserve to be in the Six Nation (with every respect to Mr Ian).

Bit scrappy now. Tired legs game over long time ago. Effort has gone. Subs have not injected that much energy into the game.

The only saving for Italy was the fact that Foxy offered nothing in attack, Adam’s was poor and Sanjay was also poor in attack - otherwise it could and should have been 60 plus.
We had 2 tries ruled out by the TMO, Adams and Foxy messed up between themselves on at least 2 other decent attacking positions. I’d be tempted to start with Halaholo and North next weekend as currently Foxy only offers you something in defence and nothing in attack.

First half superb. Really didnt do much wrong. Lineout, driving mauls. super quick recycling, intensity....I thought everyone played well first half. Biggar controlled things foxy and north looked a good pairing....tiipuric was everywhere , navidi was in the heat of battle , faleteau huge work rate, cory hill big game...Ken was superb, 2nd try was class.
then we rested a few like north biggar cawdor ken awj and the props all went off very early...It probably disrupted us a little. The only downside made a few unforced errors 2nd half, we also left 3 simple tries out there, biggar forward, adams basic error and foxy threw a bad pass.....fox was blowing late on, but had a class first 40. the italian winger scored a sublime try too.... 7 tries to 1 job done.

He made errors I agree and was blowing late on, but he made a few yards and gave a sublime through the tackle pass to create norths try...adams hot and cold...Liam was poor in attack made some strange errors and looked a bit hesitant |

Don't see what all the Halaholo love is about. Average when he came on for North. Mind you I don't really see the Jonny Williams love either. Lot of energy with both but not much rugby skill and direction.. Where are the silky runners and passers gone?
