Meet there pack head on, we need to play with pace, tempo and width .
.
We need to take quick tap penalties as often as possible, rarely do it these days . If Dwayne returns he was a master of that .

I fear it’s going to be a slugfest as opposed to a try fest on Sunday.  There are a lot of established kickers in our back line.  Unfortunate our kicking game hasn’t been up to scratch this season or for the last few seasons if we are honest.
Our best half of rugby came in the second half against Connacht- when we threw the game plan out of the window and kept ball in hand and played a more expansive game.

La Rochelle will be extremely hard to beat at home.

Sale will be tough, but after watching them last week, they're not quite at LAR's level
We're still still here, but I wish we were in an Anglo-Welsh

La Rochelle are serious contenders for the title.

Don't think it will be our problem unless we pull a few rabbits out of the hat on Sunday.
Keep the faith

Hopefully we can at least get a chance to find out.

I'm extremely worried that our coaches won't be able to get a performance out of the team on week one of re-integrating the Wales boys

We need to keep our heads, stay onside with the officials, frustrate Sale and hopefully should be able to up the tempo in the 2nd half with our replacements.

Sale had 4 YCs last weekend IIRC.

It seems to me that they are capable of losing discipline while under pressure.

Keep moving them around. If they're as big as most believe, then they'll eventually tire. It would however help if we don't give them a 21 point lead before this happens so I hope our analysts and defence coach have prepared better this time.

Fox was top notch against France, and made a couple of breaks which were not supported well by Biggar and other team mates, on the inside.   Always a top big game player.

One of the constant stream of head scratchers from this staff which has not produced a winning season.

I'd have had Asquith, who is really talented,  to start @13 with Williams/JD at 12, benching the non-starter. Hughes is a decent enough Pro-14 player but , I believe, 4th choice behind these. However, the coach obviously thinks he is better than Asquith or  JD.  JD no longer has the gas at 13 but he showed he's still very effective at the top level at 12.
What's going on?
