I’ll just start by wishing a strong recovery for Eriksen. I think today’s result is a very good one for Wales. You’re close to guaranteed to go through to the knock out stages with 4 points and considering Turkey’s poor performance last night that seems eminently possible now. That would be a good result in the Euros for Wales as although I wish we’ll go as far as last time it’s important to remember how unlikely that is and that shouldn’t be the marker of success for a small country like Wales.

Wales played a very good swiss side who have competed well at the top level for the last 4 or 5 yrs. A good result.

Agreed a good point for Wales in a very tough pool.
Turkey has been talked about as the dark horse of the tournament and Italy are a top team.  Switzerland can beat anyone on their day.  Wales will do well to get two more draws.

I’ve got to say I really don’t like the way this tournament is being played in many nations home grounds.

Italy playing in Rome, okay they schooled Turkey in the 2nd half.

But England at Wembley and the Netherlands in Amsterdam have only won by 1 goal in a “home” game. Seems really unfair on Croatia and Ukraine to me. If those games were in neutral grounds the results could have easily been different.

We’ve got to play Turkey in a country that borders Turkey TO THE EAST, and Italy in Rome. If we manage to get out the group it will be a fantastic achievement.

Yeah, we we’re overlooked as a destination and given the Champions League final in 2017 as a losing prize.

Given the stadiums aren’t full this year I guess it was a stroke of luck for revenue.

But still ridiculous that we’re playing games in Baku while Eng, Scotland, Netherlands, Denmark, Italy are playing home games…

I think, from memory, the English FA argued they should have more matches & were awarded the 4 that we would have hosted.

Great performance by Wales tonight. Truth be told could have scored 4 or 5. Onto Italy!

Not bad for a country of 3 million people against one with a population of 84 million.  Proper David and Goliath.🤗🤗

Absolutely buzzing. We get better as we go on.

Bale and Ramsey were anonymous on Saturday but turned it up a notch tonight. Neither of them had a perfect game but they have arrived! Ymlaen!
