So to progress we have to do better than 4 of those teams. (Without Covid lol)

As the group seems to be listed above in seed order, we are in reality in the bottom 4 form wise.

We will have to perform much better next season. I'm counting on us to do it!
We're still still here, but I wish we were in an Anglo-Welsh

I watched almost all of Bristol's games last season as they were a joy to watch.  They fell away a bit at the knockout stages but scored tries for fun all season.  Anyone thinking we'll be competitive with them on last seasons showing is in for a very rude awakening.

Yeah but it’s a new season with a new coaching team. You’re right of course but Scarlets are more likely to beat a side like Bristol who almost recklessly throw the ball around than they are of beating a powerful route one side like Bordeaux.
I still wake up late at night and think of what might have been when tim stimpson hit that jammy penalty1

I don't like the format but hey ho.

Looking forward to hopefully going up to Bristol as friends have told me their matchday experience is very good.

That doesn’t mean new coaching team better results. Even with Pivac took a few seasons.

So with the top 8 from each pool going through we might stand a chance if we can win a match & grab a couple of BP's.

Any idea when we know who and where we are playing each of the four weekends?

Going on last season's form we would not win a game so I'd be happy with any victory this year.

We have a decent coaching team being built. Realistically though it's a lot to expect that to bear fruit in 21/22. Took Pivac a couple of years. Without being too bigheaded I think I could see the shape he was aiming for by his second season (15/16).

If we can beat either Bristol or Bordeaux this season that will be a good result. 2 wins from 4 would be excellent.

I actually don’t think Bristol will be as good this coming season as they were last.

I have them finishing 4th in the Premiership.

They’ve lost Max Malins, Ben Earl and Siale Piutau and haven’t really replaced them with equal quality.

Still a great first XV, who’ll no doubt continue to play some swashbuckling stuff, but they haven’t got the strength in depth they had.
