There are rules to be observed...

Referee's been excellent (again), I like what I've seen of him this season.
Agreed re Andrea Piardi. The point re World Rugby still stands, though.

Would it be too much to say that he’s the best ref in this league, especially when you consider how few games he’s done?

He isn’t a Homer - to clarify, that’s someone who judges the home side less objectively than the away side - and that makes him in a very small group in the pool of officials.

I hope he continues to develop as he’s started.

Hardy is a little off his top gear. I think an early intro of Blacker might be interesting.

I don’t think we have run the Lions pack around enough for them to blow up like they did last week. Been a bit scrappy.

Still a lot of work to do here.

Just great to see crowds at PyS by the way.

Agreed. Sadly it's not difficult to stand out as a ref in this league! I hope he continues to impress and get on the international panel as well. Brace, take note...

The commentary has been noticeable by its praise for the league.

What’s it like on BBC2Wales? Are they continuing to moan as before?

Neck rolls seem to be legal this season. The Lions have done several and none have been penalised. You’d expect the TMO to be on the case there.

Huge credit to Dan Jones to spot the splintered defence. Great try.
