On the fitness front hopefully Francis and Wainwright will come through. I would guess that Rowlands & WGJ won't make it with a 6 day turnround.

15. Liam 14. McNichol 13. Foxy 12. Halaholo 11. LRZ 10. Biggar 9. Tomas
1. Wyn 2. Elias 3. Francis 4. Beard 5. Carter 6. Jenkins 7. Basham 8. Wainwright

16. Dee 17. Carre 18. Lewis 19. Tschiunza 20. Seb Davies 21. Cawdor 22. Anscombe 23. Johnny Williams.

I'm not even sure who's in the squad at the moment but I'd go with Anscombe and Cawdor at halfbacks for Anscombe's attacking and Cawdor's pressure on O'Connor, also I'd put Adams in ahead of LRZ and I'd like to see a backrow of Young at 8, Basham at 7 and Wainwright 6.

It would also be good for Elias to not play 80 again with a 6 day turnaround.

Out of curiosity, when did a hooker last play the full 80+ minutes in an international?
Elias was like a duracel bunny, still going at the end.๐Ÿ˜
Keep the faith

Sorry I made the assumption that he would not be fit. If he is fit I don't think Pivac will repeat the experiment of playing him at 13 against Australia - if he doesn't then someone is going to be pretty unlucky not to be selected in the back 3.

I think Adams is our best back 3 player.
IF he's fit I can't see how he gets dropped.

I quite agree, you canโ€™t leave Adams out, LRZ is just on another planet when it comes to pace and speed of thought and Liam proved a lot of doubters (including myself) wrong on Sunday.
Itโ€™s sad on Jony Mac but it just goes to show the strength in depth in the back 3 at the moment.

Mine would be

Liam Williams
Josh Adams
Foxy
Johnny Williams
LRZ
Rhys Priestland
Cawdor

Aaron Wainright
Taine Basham
Ellis Jenkins
Adam Beard
Rhys Davies (if Rowlands unavailable)
Francis
Elias
Wyn Jones

Samson
Dee
Rob Evs
Christ Tshiunza
Thomas Young

Tomos Williams
Anscome
Johnny Mac

And yes I know Samson & Rob aren't in the squad but if it were up to me there'd be an SOS sent out to the bois!

I thought Samson would get the call same time as Dee.

Looks like he will be sticking with the power houses that are Carre and Lewis in the 23 god help us.
I would try Adams at 13 outside Halaholo with Anscombe and Tomos at half backs.
Shame Rowlands injured because I would have dropped Beard as he is so ineffectual around the park at the moment he looks lost. Would give Rhys Davies a go looks to be the real deal.
To be honest we could do with Ryan having day off so he fit for our SA trip but that not going to happen.

She asks why i still can't answer. I guess its in the blood.
