Not sure about that. I’ve heard that some Munster and Cardiff players have tested positive…

Munster however having returned a positive test have to stay in Cape Town atm.
Siwrne saff adre!

Yep. Fantastic news.

Gutting for Cardiff though. Covid in camp so stuck there
We're still still here, but I wish we were in an Anglo-Welsh

Scarlets on the way to Dublin, will probably have to isolate there for 10 days…Got to feel for Munster and Cardiff as they have positive Covid results in their camps will have to stay in Cape Town for 14 days before coming home to isolate..

Diolch i Dduw!  Feel for the Blues and Munster boys but delighted ours are out of there.  Well done to Murderack and the Scarlets management.

This may be the link on Flightradar 24:

Hope everyone gets home safely. That is the main thing.

The Scarlets group have just arrived at the hotel in Belfast in the last hour.

The working assumption here is that they will stay there in isolation for 10 days, until on or about 8/9 December.

I’m guessing that if they keep testing negative after 5-7 days some doors to things like secure training will open.

Amazing work to get them there after an extremely challenging few days.

Thanks for the updates Wil, glad everyone has got back safely.

Hopefully Munster & Cardiff will be able to get back safely when they can.

So pleased that they have reached Belfast and a huge thank you to all who organised their safe return.

Out of curiosity, why Belfast not Cardiff, Bristol, Birmingham or similar?
Is it to do with hotel accomodation?
Keep the faith

I believe there were no available locations.

In the time frame that’s right. Next step is to try and get a location to isolate in Wales, and be able to train in some way.

BBC reporting the only place that could accommodate the group of 50 was Belfast, nothing in Wales.

Hopefully fully taken the place over? And hopefully with a gym or space where gym gear can be hired in ? 🙏

Hopefully, but the isolation hotels elsewhere are confined to rooms, fed in rooms and out for 15 mins exercise a day.  They may be allowed to treat the 50 as one group as opposed to individuals.  Negotiations ongoing no doubt.
