prob just out of contract at end of seAson i’d guess
WOL article claims he signed 3 year contract with us so would still have a year left after this season.

Murky waters contractually after the pay cuts though.
In Ireland they reimbursed the pay cuts I think. We can't afford that, so in theory players are free agents unless we've tied back down
We're still still here, but I wish we were in an Anglo-Welsh

This would be disappointing. We have good strength at 15 with McNicholl, Halfpenny, Rogers and Nicholas, but Liam is world class and undoubtedly our best when all are fit.

If he wants to leave so that he has a shorter commute there’s no point fighting to keep him here. We won’t go anywhere with players whose hearts aren’t in it.

Money talks.  LOUDLY
A scarlet thorough and through but you have to consider the career of a rugby player  is very short.
And he is not getting any younger.
Farewell and good luck, if the story is true.
I'll be sad to see him go if it is true.

Yes, money does talk.....

....but it don't sing and dance And it don't walk.

As you say, good luck to him, he's given us some great moments, but we've also given him some great moments.  I'm sure he will miss the feeling of walking out onto The Parc on some of those great European games, just like we will miss seeing him here.  Once a Scarlet, always a Scarlet.

Correct.
And Cardiff will be banking on him being in the 38 for sure. They've no magic chequebook

He’d be on the same at Cardiff as he is in Llanelli

The players accepted the pay cuts, I'm guessing the only time they could have walked was when it happened.

The salary cut was a breach of contract. May have been remedied now, of course.

Which makes me think we could be looking to oil the wheels here for our own benefit

There doesn’t seem much of wailing if this tale is correct about his departure? To me I can’t even think of him being back here this time as he has barely been seen at the club  ( unlike before he went over the border which was totally  gutting). What is really annoying is that these stories are produced on social media so openly and us supporters find out via the media !

Really Shocked the move to saracens was understandable as it was to win trophies and a big money deal,to go up the road shows little or no respect for the side that gave him his chance, since his return his attitude has been rubbish and his little outburst as he walked off after his red in cardiff shows that his success has gone to his head.

I’m with Ladram.

Lots of great memories from Sanjay in his pre Saracens stint. Only unpleasant ones since he returned.

Could well turn out to be a helpful move for the club financially and squad wise for the future.
