Seems unlikely that Bris game will be rescheduled - they clearly see a difference between Scarlets' inability to field a team for Rd 1 and the French clubs' ease of movement for Rd 2 matches.

I sent EPRC a DM on Facebook - fair play, they did respond to my query and a follow-up question:

Good morning Gareth, you'll find here all the information needed: https://www.epcrugby.com/2021/12/21/epcr-update-for-supporters/. Have a nice day, EPCR.

This includes the line: "So, the situation here is different to the postponements which were as a result of exceptional, unforeseen circumstances arising from changing border controls and entry requirements." ...which I took issue with.

Hi
The rules are clear and have been clear in all cases. All decisions have been communicated by the EPCR and the Scarlets. As explained in the article, the decision to cancel matches and to award match points is a direct application of regulations and Covid-19 protocols. The decision to postpone Round 2 matches between UK and French clubs was made as a result of EPCR being unable to obtain assurances that travel exemptions, which were already in place for players, club staff and match officials, would be honoured following the French gouvernement (sic) new measures.

Case closed, it would appear. Unhappy

Apparently some on Leinster forum think not. As 4 time winners they have some sort of divine right which others don't have.

I can't see these decisions changing to be honest, no matter how much protest there is. Think we need to focus on the here and now, and not what happened in the past. In that, crack on and get the best possible results that we can, we're in control of that and we still have every chance of qualification to the knock-out stages StarStarStar

I was thinking more of the £72 refund for the tickets,i'd left it in hoping the game would be played.

Just curious, on the day of the French postponements did the Ospreys still have to forfeit and lose 28-0?

So with Times Scotland reporting Sturgeon is about to allow fans back at stadiums in Scotland, NI and England never having banned crowds to begin with, Wales is becoming increasingly isolated in its sporting limit position. A position which is becoming untenable. Time for Drakeford to admit he got this wrong and reopen Parc Y Scarlets to the sospan faithful.

WoL reporting that we, along with several English clubs, are set to pull out of this weekends fixtures in France due to quarantining rules.

So would support the Scarlets and the English sides if they boycotted this weekend’s matches in France.  The ERC showed them far more respect with the round 2 matches than they have with the English, Welsh and Irish sides.  It would really prove a pinto the organisers that you have to treat all competitors with equal respect and not give preferential treatment to some of the powerhouses.
