The game was due to take place on Saturday, January 8 in Llanelli, however, a number of positive Covid-19 cases within the Dragons playing squad have been reported by the region. The URC Medical Advisory Group has liaised with the region and having considered all the facts have deemed that the fixture cannot go ahead as scheduled.

It's a shame in a way, it would be nice to build some momentum but good in that we'll have a crowd hopefully for the rearranged game.  It may not be huge for the Dragons but will make some money.

Hopefully it can be rearranged for a date when Drakeford will allow spectators to attend.

Yep. Silver linings
We're still still here, but I wish we were in an Anglo-Welsh

I wonder how many have tested positive? For Covid.

Dragons have 50 senior players listed in there senior squad.

Every cancellation is out of our control? SA games, Bristol, Bordeaux, Dragons - none were caused by us.

Scrap the league now for this season. Its going to get worse, fixture pile up is going to be unmanagable. Go back to round robin derbies in each country. Top team from each country go in to playoffs, winner gets a cheese and wine evening round at Boris' or a porridge and prayer evening at Drakefords.

So that’s 5 fixtures we have to reschedule?

1 in Europe & 4 league matches.

Front rowers seem to be the issue.

Ah right. Anyone thinking it’s a conspiracy against us is a bit loopy.

Nothing released from the team about any Scarlets players who have tested positive, with the number of cases in the area, surely there must be some?

A disappointment as it was a chance to build some momentum. Understandable in the circumstances but it's a challenge
