It's literally on the front page of The Rugby Paper, they obviously don't put all the articles on the website otherwise no-one would buy the paper. If you want to see a picture of it I'll DM you it.

Are there different editions? Not on mine.

There is an English edition and a Welsh edition. It’s on the front page of the Welsh edition and tucked away inside somewhere in the English.

Ensure we have the TV rights for this - if it’s part of a package through the WRU we’ll end up paying them !

It was 81-3 last time. I was a kid on the packed North Terrace and loved the experience, despite watching my heroes get pummelled by opposition who were several levels better. It felt a privilege to watch the likes of Cullen, Jeff Wilson, Frank Bunce etc strut their stuff.

The club was at a low ebb at that time in 1997. A couple of years later we were one of the very best clubs in Europe.

Agree. No offence to the lads who played for Llanelli that day, as I couldn’t lace their boots, but it’s not ideal to be playing the All Blacks with Darryl Williams at full back, Craig Warlow at fly half, Warren Leech on the wing etc.

To put it into perspective, Cullen, Mehrtens, Marshall, Bunce, Kronfeld, Ian Jones and Jeff Wilson played against us that day. Our boys were lambs to the slaughter.
Warlow and Darril Williams were our two best players that night! They were the only two that managed to get behind the All Blacks defence.

Times were hard back then. We’d had to sell Ieuan Evans to Bath because of a dire financial situation. I seem to remember that Frano Botica and a few others were injured in the lead up to the match too. Far from ideal preparation for playing an All Blacks side containing 10 players who’d be in the running for a place in New Zealand’s greatest ever XV.

Still, it was a great occasion at Stradey.

I'm going to guess that whilst NZ won't be charging any money, they might have something to say about any TV rights.
We're still still here, but I wish we were in an Anglo-Welsh

We have 7 Scarlets with Wales for the 6N
Forwards:
Wyn Jones, Ryan Elias
Backs:
Cawdor, Hardy, Fox, Liam, McNicholl.

Liam won't be with us. Will Foxy or Ken be with Wales?

We might not be too worried about who is away with Wales - but I reckon Pivac will have some compassion for us.

The Macron contract finishes at the end of this season.

Maybe Adidas will fancy manufacturing both teams’ kit for this historic encounter! ;-)

This will be huge! Those worried about getting hammered are totally missing the point - it'll be a big money spinner for the club and a fantastic occasion for all, regardless of the final score.

I sincerely hope we don't renew with Macron!
