Thank goodness for that - Bayonne away in January. There’s a chance we’ll be going. Fingers crossed for sympathetic scheduling re day and start time.

In good news, I don't think there are any Thursday evening matches now.

Like you EO, I will be hoping for good fixture times.

Wonder if there will be any trips?

We're still still here, but I wish we were in an Anglo-Welsh

Parma, is it, for Cheetahs? That would be a huge journey by road. Mind you, it is a lovely place in a different way to the charm of Treviso.

Bayonne isn’t that much nearer, although is a long day’s drive from Calais - 11 hours maybe plus stops?

Hope for no industrial disputes at the quieter time of the travelling year, either side of Xmas and New Year celebrations, along with no Covid issues.

Who in their right mind would schedule a fixture between a South African team and a Welsh team in Italy of all places, they cant even get decent crowds for the home games of their own Pro yeams. Surely it would make far more economic sense to play the games close to London, accessible for traveling Welsh and South African supporters. Also to tap into the huge Saffa and Welsh ex pat community in the Capitol.

Maybe ferry is the better option.  French air traffic controllers seem to like extended Xmas and summer holidays.  Others call them strikes.

URC fixtures expected in next 7 days apparently according to Simon Thomas. Surely we haven't really got the Ospreys at home first as per the rumours? That would be some way to kick off the season.

First home game is the rumour, not necessarily first game of the season
