Hold the set piece, lineout we have Fifeta reported to be one of the  best  lineout sealers in World Rugby, on opposition ball... Shore the defence up and we have carriers and pace a plenty.

While it’s not finance and accounting, it does seem a Kid A kind of task for research and analysis.

I think our scrummage should go well, and the lineout could be superior.Morgan peerless at the break-down,and a possibility that Tipuric could feed off him there(depending on what kind of player he is now).
Nice to see Jonny Williams at 12-his 40 mins there against Connacht at home season before last was best I'be seen from an inside centre for many years-be great if he replicates that.It appears that a shoe -horn the size of a mammoth's tusk would be required to prise Gatsby out of the starting line up,but I fear that Hawkins and others might find a gap without one.
Looking forward,Scarlets to win this.

It may be annecdotal but i would be astonished if any professional side has the consistent level of injury to senior players that we have - year on year
That could be because we have a record of taking punts on players with a bad injury record they should rename the parc Lourdes Smile

Glad that Cawdor gets to start. Suprised that Wyn doesn't, surely he must be up to speed by now. Really looking forward. Is it me or is time draging  before tomorrow?!

A very mobile looking pack. Keep that ball alive and Jac Morgan won't have many opportunities to jackle. It'll be a frustrating day for him.

Second row battle will be interesting. Welsh national team vs two very good overseas players. Our forwards look more physical, but their backs look very threatening.

Well, it'll be a tough order tomorrow. We're up against a team who smashed us in that 2nd half up in Swansea, a team who look very strong on paper.

Let's beat them.

Looks as if it’s gonna be a tough game. Two near full strength teams. There’s always the Queen to blame if we lose.

That would be ironic, given that the banner of Owain Glyndwr flies proudly outside the stadium......

Scarlets website mentions a minute’s  silence to mark the death of our colonial ruler, followed by a minute’s applause to mark the deaths of Phil Bennett, Ken Jones and Eddie Butler.

I seem to be "following Ressy around", after his Eddie Butler tribute, in a different part of this forum,
and my following comment
I must agree with him again regarding the O's pack.
It's obvious they will try to squeeze us in the tight and attempt to enforce errors and penalties.
Once it gets into the ref's head, its usually "curtains", and the trend is set.
Anscombe will kick the points or put them in dangerous attacking positions.

We of course can negate this by holding our own in the set piece, but it will be a physical battle, I am sure.
Someone else on here, has mentioned the Ospreys ploy of bringing North off his wing in to the 10 channel.
They have employed this against us before, and its effective.

On the other side of the coin, if Tips and Morgan don't rule the contact area, we can play a more fluid game, which is where they (the O's) may struggle.
It's the first game of the season, so all the above is "if's and buts" ATM, we will just have to see how it goes, and hopefully, we will do well! Fingers crossed!
