I have seen Harri Doel play since he was under 16, defensively strong in tackle and aerially, no worries there.

He also as genuine pace and a try scorer.

Perhaps with this ban on regions signing players due to the financial uncertainty (caused by the amateur WRU), this is just a way of signing him.
It’s Llandovery that have signed him (officially) but as they are one of the feeder teams, we can use him when required.

In the games I have seen him play, he looks very illusive with a lot of gas, but doesn't look the most reliable defender, which is a pretty important quality for a full back.

The guy is 22 so should be able to learn & develop.

Maybe so, but that didn't work out for Matthew Morgan or Jorden Williams thought, did it?

Jordan was a brilliant attacker but poor at defending when he moved up to regional level from the Rfc but to be fair he has improved a lot over the years at Dragons but it did take a few years that Scarlets didn’t have.
I once saw him score a brilliant solo try v Bedwas I think for the rfc. It was breathtaking stuff

Glad to see he's stayed in the game, and come back to Wales. The Worcester outcome would have turned a few guys to other occupation options for sure.

Good.
In 1972, Roy Bergiers scored that try and said "that was for you lofty"

Llandovery playing like a team who understand what their fellow players can do and stick to a plan. Llanelli playing like a group of individuals who have only just met, some of whom don't even know the rules. Very disappointing. Not many of the Llanelli players performing well enough to suggest they are ready for promotion maybe Eddie James, Harri Williams.

Top team with large budget reputed to be about £200k. Got senior ex Rfc players Ioan Hughes ( Staffs brother) at 10 and seasoned Jack Maynard as well at 15  plus Adam Warren and Aaron Warren and Hari Doel now .. plus plus … Their pack looks seasoned and mature as well. A strong settled team. We were well beaten tbh but we are still doing a lot better than in the past which is good but the top teams like Merthyr Aberavon Cardiff and Drovers are a league and I suspect player budget apart from the Rfc . Carwyn on poor ball wasn’t great but he did his 55 minutes.
