There's a WRU embargo on signings. We're not allowed to sign anybody for next season.

Lee Blackett was a replacement for Dai Flan.
Sneddon is a replacement for Emyr
Wainwright must be a replacement for someone that WRU are paying injury cover for, so cost neutral

Both coaching vacancies opened up in the off season, preceding the ban
Cheers. Didnt realise it was a formal embargo, I thought it was just that we dont know our budget yet. Imagine being ruled over by the bunch of clowns who call themselves the WRU. Makes me want to give up on rugby union

Conditions right now are almost perfect for an Anglo-Welsh breakaway league. Both Unions are at odds with their pro clubs.
We're still still here, but I wish we were in an Anglo-Welsh

You can see why when everything is so rosy in the GP. Players leaving, clubs going bust - all good. Funniest quote I read was that fans in england dont want cross border stuff which is utter nonsense. All the guys I work with in england love cross border games.
