Sure Simon Muderack confirmed 22 or 23 players up for renewal.
We wont know who until the end of the season, with Tnewsdays and farewells at the final home game. |

Peel has said that the club are waiting for a formal financial agreement to be in place before we can start preparing for next season. We are absolutely skint by the sound of it and are solely reliant on the WRU. Not a good time and we need to start becoming more self sustaining or otherwise we are done for when they cull a region.

The WRU channel much of the regions legitimate income through themselves, then barter for an outcome that doesn't traditionally benefit the regions as much as it should. It's almost as if I'm writing about entities competing with each other and not one being the governing body of the other. |

All the regions are in the same boat. Cardiff already lost Llewelyn & strong rumours that Dillon Lewis is leaving for England. Rowlands already gone - how many more. Sounds to me that the announcement that verbal agreements had been made was a vain attempt to plug a gaping hole probably at Gatland's request. Problem of course is you cannot spend a verbal agreement. Regions cannot offer anyone a contract until they have a fully signed & funded deal which is still some way off.
60 cap rule is going to be under severe pressure - how many more of Gatland's potential World Cup squad is he set to lose. More of the same from the WRU it seems. The more I see the more it seems to me that this is ploy by the WRU to take control of the regions & bring them under the WRU umbrella.

I think it is wise & prudent to see what we are going to get from the WRU before we go splashing the cash.

Source? Rather than just sitting on their hands, they must surely be planning for different kinds of permutations/scenarios - ie. good, worse, worst. Control what you can. The situation carries the potential for the kind of clean-out some people here are seeking. Even so, moving around the chess pieces thereafter can't be easy.

We also don’t seem to have any enthusiastic and positive interaction between the club management and supporters ( other than the usual ‘we made mistakes’ flat technical monologues via Peel) . It’s all very quiet and it hardly feels like the world of the so termed ‘Scarlets family’ / ‘ In the pack’ etc etc
