It’s a knockout game. Knockout games have always been an extra purchase

Agree to a point but we have never had a last 16 type game before, just 1/4 and semi so I thought this one may not count.

Mark its always been the same dating back decades. When we would have knockout games  in Welsh Cup ,it was all to pay for season ticket holders.

Interesting result from this weekend:

Brive 22-24 Perpignan

This was a basement battle; 13 v 14 in the table.

Perpignan have now caught up with Brive & both teams are 6 points adrift of Pau in 12th position.
There's a lot of water to go under the bridge before our game but that was not a good result for Brive.

Pre covid,
we would have had 3 rounds in the europe, that was cut down to 2 since covid.

so we have lost out of a home game

There are 9 home games in the URC.
There were 11 in the Pro12
We're still still here, but I wish we were in an Anglo-Welsh

We can't really include a game in the ST that may or may not exist, or even be at home!

Possibly, we could let ST holders have tickets gratis though. Happy to pay the £10, thats really not the issue. I was just surprised that a last 16 game was still classed as a pay game considering the reduction in games played etc etc etc

Does anyone know if they are planning to announce potential quarter final dates for each game before the last 16 games are played?

It is such a short period for the home team to plan and sell tickets with less than 7 days notice , so surely they can annoucne the potential date of the quarter finals in advance?

Given we are playing the winners of Bristol & Clermont, who are also playing on the Friday night I would guess we are playing on the following Friday if we get through.
