Interesting selection but it feels as if we have gone full circle regarding development ....Big defensive game needed from Wales with a side that's named

It doesn't matter France last try against the English was a thing of beauty...they love to play running rugby should be applauded for playing real rugby.

When was the last time we produced a flowing backline try.

We are not ....we can't play, zombies where you know what each player will do...exception is LRZ who is excellent...the rest bloody hell.

In 1972, Roy Bergiers scored that try and said "that was for you lofty"

"All you have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us"

And interestingly if Ange Capuzzo had been playing they would have scored the searing breaks they had generated.

We are far worse than most will admit,

Hes gone for damage limitation really, makes sense not throwing the young centres to the lions like.

They are either good enough or they are not they, will learn nothing sitting in stands.
Damage limitation cowardice I call it.

Putting 2 rookie centres in against probably the best centre pairing in the 6 nations is silly.

It’s a pretty uninspiring selection, although we knew it was coming when he refused to admit his original squad was wrong and call up fresh players during the tournament.

Maybe France will think it’s such an easy game they won’t train or turn up ready. That’s my only hope for this weekend. Potentially we can limit them like last years 13-9 score, but there’s no chance we win this without an early red card for DuPont

I think he's more concerned with damage limitation to his reputation than that of his young centres.

So they good enough against England and Italy but but not against France. One of them good enough to play against the best side in world. if they not good enough or not ready they shouldn’t be there, obvious really.
They need as much experience as possible in World Cup year.
I personally don’t think they are the best centres in Wales far from it but if they are in squad pick them.
George is so far off the pace he’s a shadow of former self.
If Gatland want so stubborn he would be playing people from outside squad who are in better form.

More chopping and changing, fails again to select a fly half with talent flair and form- Patchell...Its damage limitation , no development at all...Biggar will kick to orders and we will waste possession and kick to the skies and learn absolutely nothing as usual
Gats doesnt know what hes doing at 4,5, 6 and 7 and the centres....Dropping Jenkins at lock is depressing. No idea where Christ t has disappeared to, jack morgan must be wondering whats going on too hes been 8,6,7 dropped twice? The centres ? No one seems to have nailed the shirts down...I suspect scarlets have the best centres though, as usual.Wink
