Thoughts are with his family. He will leave a huge hole to fill at Cardiff.

This is sad news & I can't help but worry about the finances of Cardiff Rugby given he made a cash injection to pay the staff recently.

Agree with all the sentiments expressed and hope his families - flesh & blood plus rugbywise - are provided for by the Will and any Trusts.

One of the games longest lasting figures at matches. Like John, I’d no idea about him having played there.

A massive figure in Cardiff rugby, and one of the much-needed benefactors in Wales who have helped keep the clubs/regions above water. RIP Peter Thomas.

Huge loss for Cardiff. Influential figure throughout pro-rugby. Will be missed.
What's going on?

Very sad news about both men.  Peter was a true blue, an ex player and a huge benefactor for them through the professional era, without his money they wouldn’t have been able to sign the a lister players such as Lomu and Iestyn Harris (from under our noses).
Brown brought some much needed cash to the dragons and with it some World Cup winners, who put bums on seats.
RIP both of you, your contribution to welsh rugby has been very good and much needed (as the WRU wouldn’t have stumped up the cash).
