OK. I've been looking at what to say to SG tomorrow night. When I make presentations for my work, I don't like to read from prepared scripts but use notes if I don't know the subject inside out - and that's what I plan to do at the meeting.

So far, I have decided that the structure of what to say will be as follows:

Introduction to the Supporters Trust members present.

Aims & Objectives of the group

Philosophy of the Supporters Trust

Basics and mechanics taken from the handbook (brief as I don't wish to bore him)

Examples of successes with other Trusts - in any sport and particularly rugby

What we can do for the Scarlets - New Stadium etc

What do we want from the Scarlets - Use of a room; Support (?); Programme adverts etc

We must stress our independence. Does anyone wish to add anything to the "What can we do for the Scarlets" so that I can build up as comprehensive a list as possible bacause this is the crux of the meeting?

Can I have confirmation of the names attending from our side?

Anything else to add?

What can we do for the Scarlets? Taken from previosu thread:

1. To raise funds for the direct benefit of Llanelli RFC ltd - what categories would this constitute? a. direct support of the Scarlets/junior/academy teams b. to improve the matchday experience at New/Stradey. Any more? Can we think of examples of small/med/large scale projects that potentially could be undertaken by the Trust e.g. purchase training equipment for Academy, involvement in fundraising for player testimonial season, purchase of large banners Munster 'stand up and fight' style for visual profile at all games, purchase of stadium facilities, buying in of pre/post match entertainment

2. To act as a means of integrating supporters and a focal point for fans e.g. Organise away travel, formally arrange venues for away matches and occcasional pre match entertainments, be media and supporter contacts

3. To act as a formally constituted democratic supporters body, providing a voice for supporters and a means of formal communication between club and supporters.

Re: brief personal intro:

Mike Richards, formally of Burry Port, living in Cardiff for past 3 years. Season ticket since 1987. Marketing & Communications Advisor.

Also to add - I won't be able to leave work until 4.00pm tomorrow so it'll be straight back to Llanelli - hence I will in formal attire i.e. suit.

Hopefully get to Stradey by about 17:15.

OK, so far I have the attendees as: Myself, Gareth, Wayne, Mark, Dorian, Mike and Barrie. I know that Alan is at the Urdd. Is Bob not coming? Anyone else?

I have written a script (it has ended up being 4 pages long - but it has a large font!).

Where is SG's office? Can we meet up in the car park a few minutes before hand? (Will the gates to Stradey be open or will it be the Electric club?)

Hi Abbey, If you have time, you could  try ringing Bob, or at least leave a message at :-[01554 757941] I think it's his home number, and you might get his mum. See you at about 5.15 at Stradey.
