France super efficient so far - 12-0 after less than 10 min.
One try from their first entry into the 22. Then Gilchrist gets a red for shoulder to the head. Georgian ref 100% right there - no mitigation - France 8 running in a crouch (not dropping) then half stopped in a tackle and Gilchrist shoulder to head. Looks like France will get a red themselves now - head to head contact. Yes. Fair decision. Ref nearly bottled that - referred to lesser degree of danger - but must have been advised by the TMO and/or assistants. So now 14 play 14 after 12 min!

In that conference, the scattergun decision selection of the Georgian ref was reeled in by both Piardi, who did it diplomatically, and Karl Dickson who was much more forthright. He probably thought he needed to tell Amukashvili what he needed to do.

Terrific first half - Scotland have territory and possession, but France much more efficient in finishing.
HT 22-7 France nearly had another form a breakaway and quickly taken lineout, but the clock was red and try disallowed!

Ireland only one on for the grand slam then. Scotland still have a chance for the triple crown but have to play Ireland.

Good match - story the same all the way through - Scotland had more territory and posession, but France finished off their chances better.
On form I'd expect France to beat England and Ireland to beat Scotland - but it's hard to win away in the 6N, so who knows?

Ive enjoyed watching every side , apart from us
This was a great match, epic attacking epic defending , juggernaut start from the french, brilliant scottish comeback all on a knife edge.... france will surely win at twickenham but scotland v ireland will be the game of the championship

Scotland - Italy will be the best match of this 6N... France need to do much more if they have high ambition...In my view their bigger problem is at the centres, not needed a good combination, but in top14 too few players french playing...almost all are not french..
