Those 2 were involved in tax avoidance 10 years ago and gabby claimed innocence and said shed pay back her taxes 11 years ago....Yet here they are 11 years later paid to promote tax avoidance schemes at these big sports events....The greed is insatiable. This really needs to be stamped out.

I have often wondered if a British prime minister would ever have the ambition to make one simple appointment which would throw the illegal/legal avoidance of tax world into turmoil. Starmer would send a huge message and sway millions of voters if he did just this one thing.

Head hunt the best investigative tax accountant available in the UK, second him to the treasury with his own team and put him to work on the billions of pounds of illegal money sloshing about in property & other assets in the UK as well as closing all the tax avoidance loopholes being used quite legally by thousands of the top earners.

An incentive should be given immediately - publish this future appointment intention and give a deadline of 3 months after the next forecast latest election date for individuals/corporations to come forward & submit themselves to scrutiny & pay any taxes ( without penalty) that arise. Once the deadline runs out then no deals without penalties will be considered.

Excellent idea GPR!
For years those wealthy ,under the Tories have got richer and richer.
It's just in the Tory  DNA ,to let this happen, and for wealth  to trickle down to the rest of us...just look at Truss and her maniac financial  planConfused !
Cameron  ahd Osborne  were adamant there would be no 'mansion tax' for the wealthy,  but were more than happy to screw down and tighten benefit  loopholes, with many genuine  claimants having to jump through  flaming hoops backwards .
Its fine to tighten the rules,as long as its fair .
GPR's excellent idea has as much chance  of being implemented  by the Tories, as I have being drafted  in to Gatland's squad for the Italian  game.
Donors to the Tory party  and tax avoidance  have gone hand in hand for years. Why do you think so many Russian  Oligarchs, are now domicile  in the UK, with people of influence in their pockets.
Its one law for them and one law for the rest of us, as Johnson  and his cronies have proved time and time again.
The wealth the acrue, the more they want.

Regarding 'Crappy ' Logan, nothing surprises  me.
Someone I know, a regular  with the BBC, has worked with her,
and says she is an absolute  'primary dona ',and a nightmare.
Another example of  an overpaid BBC figurehead.

Sheโ€™s very slick and accomplished and bright but she has morphed into a bit of a prima donna , appearing as lead on so many shows. The fact that she is happy working with king dork Alfie on the awful Sin Bin show shows she will perform with anyone for the right money! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Yes agree lofty.
Fortunately,  we have a big enough house, when the wife is watching soaps , or countless celebrity  orientated ' challenges',
from music, to cooking, no even pottery.
Same idea, and recycled  celebrities ....again and again
Of course, she could claim, (which she does'nt) that I am a moron, continually watching rugby .
Love is a wonderful  thing!

Your right Pimp. There seems to be a flavour of the year and they are on everything ๐Ÿ˜‚ I do struggle more with Fiona Bruce though on Question Time but I canโ€™t help comparing her to Dimbleby . Sheโ€™s fine on Antiques Road Show though although I still miss Arthur Negus and the Parrot ๐Ÿ˜‚
