Dai38 - sorry to hear about your man flu. My recommendation is to resort to that good cure - plenty of vin rouge!!!!

Thanks Peter. This will be my first Bayonne match that I miss. We will be there in numbers and fine voice.

Bus leaves PYS tonight at 2300 hours to arrive at Stansted at 0430 hours for our flight which is 0625 hours into Biarritz. Arrive Biarritz 0920 hours. No planned transfers from Biarritz to Bayonne hotel as transfer time in short as its only 5 kms so we intend grabbing a few taxis for the 11 of us.

Check in is not until around 1500/1600 hours so plan is to dump cases & hit the streets. The town centre is a short walk north along the river Nive where we have two bars recommended Bar Remy & Katy Daly's. Katy's is the late night/rugby option as it closes at 0200 hours.

Saturday match day kick off 1400 hours.

Sunday is sight seeing day followed by for 7 of us lunch at 1300 hours. Katy Dalys looks a good option if anyone wants to see other European games.

Monday we have to get to Biarritz airport for 1200 hours so taxis about 1130 hours. Flight is 1415 hours arrive Stansted at 1510 hours for journey back to PYS.

See you tomorrow bright & early as David Hallett & I travel up by train today & are staying overnight at an airport hotel.

As I said in a previous  message..I WISH EVERYONE WELL, FOR A GREAT TRIP !
That schedule,  with a 23.00 pick up from Parc, looks punishing LOLConfused.
Two weeks ago I had to get up at 3.00am for a  4.00am Airport taxi,  that was enough for me, and even worse  for Mrs Pimp, who loves her sleep.

The beauty of being  retired,  is you can sleep in the morning,  when the weathers crap, like it is just now.
Sometimes though,  you have to make sacrifices, and I am 100% sure with GPR leading the troops, the Bayonne  trip will because resounding success .

Glad to report everyone returned to UK safe with no arrests. Nearly lost one in the Nive but we managed to rescue that mishap!!!!!

Have to say I am considering my position with three fever tours completed with all returned to UK safely, no hospitalisations, no arrests. There is a thread of thought that you quit while you are ahead. Big smile

Calling all Bayonne tourists. Trying to reconcile hotel bill. It appears that some payments from individual guests were made. My concern is that payment is not made twice as my card should have been used for all transactions.

If anyone paid cash or by card for anything please let me know. I am aware of two card transactions - one I have sorted, the other made on 6th December for 58.80 euros by card ending 3..6. Please contact me to confirm.
