Another fantastic advert for rugby today down South. Australia - how to lose a test despite 4-1 in favour tries = give away 7 kickable penalties; Joe will be ballistic.
One of the great test match performances by South Africa who totally outplayed the All Blacks from 1st minute to last. Superb coaching from Rassie as he was not afraid to introduce younger elements to the team; also a change of tactics with far less conservatism laced with a lot more pace. Mngomezulu (23) started at 10, his early replacement Libbok (28) had his best game for SA; Willermse (27) a ball playing 12; Moodie (22) a flyer at 13, Ethan Hooker (22) on the wing - never seen this boy play before but for me he was MOM, hell of a game. Perhaps most significantly they won the 2nd half 36-0 with Wessels (24) & Nortje (27) in the front 5. My old Irish mate Nathan believes SA are in more trouble with an aging team than Ireland - not on this showing. I do not think any team in the World could have lived with the Boks in that 2nd half apart from maybe France at a push. Power destroyed the Blacks scrum, pace & offloading galore with Kolisi & Pieter Stef prominent until Smith entered the fray to deliver knock out blows. If the welsh players are thinking of strike action this Autumn I would strongly advise them to select the Boks game.

With the WRU making their deliberations whilst the players are in the national camp, it isn't great preparation and none are easy games Argentina will be confident after beating Australia no matter what happend next over the next 2 games Japan won't fear us and will be smarting after the last defeatNew Zealand will be hurting for a long time South Africa - hopefully the bus will break down Wonder how further we can drop in the world ranking.
