Hell of a comeback from Argentina - 21-0 down with 20 to go winning 33-24. A lot is made of having a 2nd play maker who can take the pressure off the 10. Watch the performance of Santi Carrerras who is equally adept at 10 or 15. He came on and transformed his team - absolutely world class.

Townsend & Scotland have run their race it seems. A lot of soul searching in Edinburgh coming up this week.

Drawing with the All Blacks on 74 mins of the previous game and a week later the knives are out.

Pretty sure they had a big lead over us in last year’s 6N, and if it wasn’t for the ridiculous penalty against Blair, we may have sneaked it. Same was true in 2024 if I’m correct.

Can’t manage the final 10 mins it seems.

Adams gifted them a line out 5m out by throwing the ball into the crowd.

Steve Tandy has called Scarlets centre Joe Roberts and Ospreys tighthead prop Ben Warren into the Wales squad.

It's not the first time Scotland have fallen apart in the last 20. However, they're a much improved squad these days, and wasn't expecting that result ShockedShockedShocked

Judging by online comments, the Scots supporters have had enough of near misses with Townsend, so he may be for the chop soon unless they do well in the 6N.

Japan were the better side , 13 players on the field and we couldn't take advantage, pathetic, they even missed kicks to make it easier for us.

All Blacks have been average tbh , and the loss to the English will wake them up.

And the stadium will be filled with freebies believing this Welsh side will win. With the mess the WRU are making in their cauldron of hate towards us, here's hoping its a 50 pointer

In 1972, Roy Bergiers scored that try and said "that was for you lofty"

"All you have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us"

Townsend may not get to the 6 nations. He has upset a number of people with his 30 day consultancy for Red Bull so only beating USA & Tonga in November is definitely not ideal.

I was speaking to a Swansea businessman on the weekend and he was saying a lot of people are turning down the corporate freebies in protest. I’ve also noticed with the blue light tickets the nhs ones aren’t all disappearing. So most of that crowd have paid. I dunno if anyone went Saturday but the Argentina game was a lot of families and youngsters.

The Irish correspondent on the BBC rugby section of their website is on something strong.

« Meanwhile, Leinster prop Thomas Clarkson has cleared all head injury assessment (HIA) protocols and is set to train fully this week ahead of the Dublin encounter with the world's number-one ranked side. »
