Just a quick word about Terry Yorath , who was buried today,
A passionate and proud Welsh man who played and captained Wales with distinction . The game sadly we all remember is the World cup, qualifier in Cardiff v Romania. Big Nev Southall let a shot from Hadji ( rare mistake) go though his legs and Paul Bodin missed a pen. Lost 2-1 and should have been winners. Terry would then have taken us to the world cup, instead his contract was not renewed ( effectively sacked). It tragedy however , which sadly plagued Terry all his life, losing his son Daniel to a rare heart disease, and of course was manager of Bradford, at the time of the awful fire in the stand. Terry went to every funeral of all those who died. This was similar to what Kenny Dalgeish and his wife Marina did for the Hillsborough victims. Rest in Peace Terry you will be remembered as a real talent, a passionate welshman and a kind compassionate human being.
