If you are a physically powerful and athletic player like Tshiunza you must also have a mentality and determination that enjoys using it to knock opponents out of the way. Unless someone can instil that in his psyche he's not going to achieve his potential.
These rumoured signings are going on now and despite our future uncertainty now is prime time for signing. Give Cubby a chance.

I can’t remember what the French call it but they have a name for the second row who is not a line out jumper and is a heavy ball carrier very much the tight head lock this is exactly what we need less guys like Douglas in the row ( I see Douglas as a 6 ) and some real nasty 120kg plus guys.

Is the guy that has been released by Pau Joel Kpoku not sure what money he would want but he would be good until the end of the season to put himself in the shop window for Premiership team for next season. I would guess hes got Newcastle interested already.

Against the grain, but I thought Hawkins played well at 12. I think it wasn't flashy, but he was strong defensively and was a great foil for Sam. It seemed to free Sam up a bit more knowing Hawkins was there as another option. Also against the grain, but I can see Eddie as a 13 now. He's massive but he hasn't got the Jamie Roberts into contact mentality. He's a big boy who doesn't really like crash ball. he's got more skills and nous than that (see his offload for example). He could be a George North-style 13 freeing us up to use Jonny or Hawkins at 12.

I also think we need Douglas, Plumtree, Macleod and Anderson on the pitch at the same time, so Douglas needs to go in the row with Ball. Lousi on the bench with Taylor.

Finally, I would pick Mee at 15, Rogers and Page on the wings in a first choice team. I thought Jac Davies had a good game (especially as he survived getting absolutely mullered by that second row!) but I think Blair is a bit off at the moment.

James and Page could be a vintage ventre pairing,a once-in-a-generation duo....or they could go and plau somewhere else.
It makes eminent semse to deny disrupt and displace them .....so that Jonny Williams can het a game at 12.Hawkins' deficiency will only become more obvious
Not Elias' biggest fan but that was the best I've seen him play-brilliant stuff.

Tracteur/Pousseur-tracteur/Poutre

Poutre is a beam, as you’d have in a roof structure. Pousseur = pusher

The hospitality sector also benefitted!

We asked that the boys put up a good account of themselves, and that they did. Costelow was a positive influence, but we also upticked line speed, and fronted up to the Saints pack. We had our issues and scrum time admittedly, and our discipline let us down at time, but overall we came to the Prem leaders and earned their respect.

I haven't  seen the game, as I was travelling  home from Andulucia on Sunday.
Is there anywhere  tonwatch highlights  ??

Thanks for the above comments  Wil..and it's great the boys put in a performance worthy of our great club.
I read the BBC online fans comments , and all the Saints fans were complimentary of the Scarlets  performance  plus the great contribution of our fans singing etc. I salute you ladies and gentlemen,  who travelled  to Northampton .
Northampton  and Scarlets  have a long history  of rivalry , but also friendship.  I remember vividly the Easter tour to Wales by Northampton,  with Aberavon  on the Friday  and us on Easter Monday. Then there were the long coach trips to Franklyn Gardens, where the rugby was exiting and the welcome was warm and generous.
I often dream of re- kindling that , the  I wake and realise we are doomed to the, URC  ConfusedConfused

Said it before, I don’t see what we gain keeping Johnny around at this point. We need the money spent elsewhere. We’ve got Hawkins and James at 12, and McDonald coming through.

This is the word that I was after the BEAM we need 2 in the squad like Northampton with JJ VAN DER MESCHT and ED PROUSE

Just read about Fletcher Anderson stats.

He finished the pool stages with more defenders beaten than any other player so far 25.

And the joint 2nd most carries.

Came from no where and an absolute colossal player.

In 1972, Roy Bergiers scored that try and said "that was for you lofty"

Yes it is 6 foot 5 & 126 kgs. Perfect fit even if till end of season. If he had been on the bench Sunday we may well have won.
