A big shout out to Steff Thomas for winning the Sports Journalist of the Year award at the Celebrating Brilliant Journalism Awards.

imo, always objective; tells the story in an engaging manner for the reader and uses language they can understand.

Seems appropriate to put in Chat as it relates to written work and general Sports acclaim, rather than General Rugby. If the mods feel it better elsewhere, then that's great.

Steff Thomas is a good guy. He sometimes gets stick just because he is a Scarlets fan even though his stories are to my mind always fair and balanced about all things rugby. It’s just silly to demean the young man who is increasing his stock as a sports journalist and a Welsh one as well! He deserves the acclaim.
