Been collecting for over 40 yrs, I have no room to carry on. Before I put it on Ebay I would rather it go to a Scarlets Fan -
Scarlets - Every programme Home & Away since they started. Llanelli RFC - Every Home since 1966 and Away since 1982 plus 100's more going back to 1927. Most of these are in Llanelli RFC red programme Binders. Also in the last 20 yrs newspaper match reports in each programme. If anyone is or knows someone who would be interested in this collection, please PM me. If you need anymore details, let me know. THANKS

Pretty amazing collection there. Hats off to you. Just hope they go to a good home.
I hope the Scarlets themselves are notified that the collection is available. |

That's a fair effort
I hope they go to a good home.I was one of Joe Lewis's programme sellers in the early 70's and still see him selling raffle tickets in the barn for the RFC..a great club man.

The Good Old days. 10p when I first bought one, a lot of the games would sell out so had to get 1 early.
God I miss those days, Not the same anymore.

Mark - I think Les has a bigger collection than me. Hes older than me and been supporting/collecting Scarlets much longer than me.
Sometimes he gives me a ring when he wants to check his stats with mine.

I hope the club/region or even the local council step in and take some of these of your hands.
They are history and it would be good if they could be kept local. |
