Ooops sorry meant to say! The kind he's been on about cost around £200 - £250 I think! I could manage up to £150 - hence the search for second hand!
Does that help? Or is there a decent new one available within my range? Neither of us are very technical! |

Thanks, as always, Wiz! Problem with sites like that is that I have no idea what all the techy stuff means!!
He wants it, mainly, for taking photos when he's out mountain biking. He wants something quite robust and reasonably compact that takes good quality pictures! |

I have the sony DCU-30.. it's great, small, easy to use, but lacks long range power My Brother In-law has the one below... it's very good.. |

A mate in work has the Canon ixus II which is a 3.2M camera here is the review of the american version http://www.steves-digicams.com/2003_reviews/sd100.html same camera just named differently He paid about £190 3-4 months ago from bristol cameras, they have a web site http://www.bristolcameras.co.uk/ at £169 new |
