We need to email SG ASAP stating that we can meet from Wednesday 19 April onwards.

We intend to hold the open meeting BEFORE this season ends - giving us the summer to do the organisational stuff and push the membership as next season begins.

We need to ask SG if he'd mind Scott Q coming along to the OM.

We need to brainstorm:

1. A list of question SG might put to us

2. What we are hoping to achieve with the Trust - which may fall into three categories or so: fundraising, consolodating/increasing support base and providing a two-way communication channel between club and supporters via a democratic and collective voice. Are there any other broad areas? We need to think of examples of how we might achieve this in terms of small, medium and large scale activities/efforts.

I was about to e-mail SG, but was not sure whether to: a] propose a date [say 19th April] and offer to change it if he was not available,
b] leave it totally up to him
Also whether we should suggest a location or, again, leave it up to him.
My inclination is to set a date [the original letter offered the chance for SG to propose one; a concrete proposal is less likely to be put on hold], but I'm not so sure about the location.  Stradey is an obvious choice, but does "after work" imply he expects to go somewhere else?
Also, I was reluctant to send an e-mail in case we all sent one; shambolic, that would look.
I'm happy to make the contact, but would appreciate ideas on these points.

I would assume that SG means Stradey as anywhere else would be seen as unprofessional - and I'm sure that he doesn't do business in pubs with strangers!

after work implies the time, it means we don't have to meet him during work hours (9-5)
stradey would be the obvious choice

Thought we agreed to say that we can meet him on any night of his choice after the 13th (I think)

We wouldn't say who was attending until we get the date as we all may or may not be available.

Any email sent should be done via the supporterstrust@scarletfever account, where we can all access it.

If you need help with this account let me know. Just remember to BCC the trust account as it doesnt have a sent folder option.

I've just sent an e-mail from the supporterstrust@scarletfever account, offering to meet from the 13th [effectively that's from the 19th unless SG wants to meet on the 13th] asking him to suggest a date.
