You would have thought the range of the 'fun' tee shirts being offered on the Tee shirts thread would have been popular in the store perhaps for the younger people in the town who dont get up to the ground that much. Sure the Scarlets could have got some of these cheaper too -missed opportunity to get more kid friendly gear ?as it happens the profit on these tees go outside the club Cry

the next time you are sticking up for all things scarlet you might like to take a moment to think why posters like myself are so pissed off with the people running the show.

I am certainly not sticking up for 'all things Scarlet' at all and do feel a lot more could be done to market the brand as do you no doubt. However, they have scant quality staffing resources certainly in depth-as good people cost money.
As an associated matter what really pisses me off if I had to pick a single p off item, is the apathy and sometimes antagonism of some members of the public to the club that is doing its best with financial restraints due to the lack of charitable benefactors/WRFU funding. The board are actually losing their own money on supporting us and they cannot be expected to keep on giving ,especially for scant gratitude from some supporters.I am sure they would love to step back if a rich oligarch came forward but no-one has sadly, so we battle on with what we have.I personally, feel that I have superb value out of my season ticket to watch our players including a number of regular Welsh internationals turn out at Y Parc. I just wish we had a £6m players budget not £3.5m and even better £10m like in France so we could sign up some beast Bok or Kiwi/South Sea forwards-we seem to have no problem in self-nurturing our backs. The answer lies in Lewis's hands at the WRFU not the club. Not quite on theme -but mentioning being pissed off prompted this  tangent rant! Wink
