Glamorgan Wanderers were very effective at the breakdown - although they got on the wrong side of the referee, and their scrum was also pretty dominant, so they had a lot of possession. It was rainy and windy, and although they kicked a lot in the first half with the wind behind them, they didn't do so very effectively. The Drovers, being obliged to run and drive got the only try in the first half. In the second half, Wanderers couldn't kick as much, so the game became a bit of a stalemate. I think there was only one score in the second half, a penalty to the Drovers. |
