Dissapointing result for us last night - Quins didnt really show up. Still, there are some very promising youngsters in the Quins setup - both sets of half backs are playing alternate game - 1 week its Ricky Richards and Craig Evans the next its Wayne Evans and Aled Thomas. Good system i think to bring all 4 players (one 21 year old, 1 20 year old and 2 18 year olds) through to regional ranks if GJ and ND give them the chance. I think its time now that Gareth starts planning for the future - I'd rather the Scarlets lose with youngsters gettin experience than them lose with players like Rhodri Jones and Arwel Thomas stopping they're progress. |
