read in the post last night that newport may have 3 points deducted for cancelling a game or something.  if this happens and llanelli and neath win their next few games, then the llanelli v neath game on xmas week could be a potential top of the table clash

All going well it'll be a top-of-the-table clash anyway, since the Port lost to arch rivals Ebbw Vale (always had a soft spot for the team in red, white and green lol) on Wednesday night.

Ah well, can't win them all bin. My "adoration" of Ebbw is down to a certain player called Lennie Woodard - heman knows this fella - LW signed heman's season ticket when they were printed on card and only cost a fiver (God, thats going back some years!!)

a mate in college plays for ebbw vale. when the subject of the semi pros comes up (it does more often than you'd think) he loves to rub it in!

it would be great if points were deducted. i know that if we were in newports position and did what they did, we would definately have points deducted
