Do I need to buy a plug in adapter to fit to the console or is it built in?

Same here, mine is hardwired now, and I've opened a port on my router so that the Xbox takes preference if there is more than once device using bandwidth at any one time Big smile Also helps the NAT type too. Before I configured the router, I was getting Moderate or Strict when playing games like COD online, regardless if I rebooted/reset the router with no other devices connected. Shocked

I get no problems with wireless to router as long as the ports are open.
