My (very successful) youth team was quickly broken up by boys being tempted away by cash.
Went into our third year of youth and about 10 boys had offers to play for money from about 5 different clubs. |

Measure your success by where they eventually progress too. Junior and youth system are vital - not sure the wru understand that - ehat did your senior secion o to keep them?

Bit of a strange one. The only thing they could do to keep ( most of )them would be to pay them,
Last season Pontypool had one player who’s salary was more than my club’s total operating budget ( not to be confused with playing budget..which doesn’t exist). |

John Plimmer from J&J Motors did once ask me how much I thought it would cost him to get Jonah Lumo to play a season for Tumble. I'm not sure whether he was joking or not.
