In no particular order. Please add more when you think of them and the answers.

This should not come up because the presentation should answer it before the "any questions, Mr G?" stage. We do need some ideas on the presentation, though... I'll start a thread with a couple of ideas. |

> 1. LOL 2. To support the club [obviously needs more detail, but that's it in a nutshell] 3. Nothing or next to nothing and we aim to raise funds for the club. 4. No clue. 5. a] it will be democratic and representative Another question: what's in it for us? [i.e. the management of the club]. |

You'll have people working for the greater good of the club out of loyalty/regard for the club. Something you can't buy. |

Just playing devils advocate.... SG: The supporters club fell on its **** recently, with people not getting on with each other. How are you guys so sure that the same thing won't happen again with this Trust thing? |

Some possible responses: 1] We can't be sure as are only the "setting up" group; the Trust's officers will be elected. THe old supporters' club never really got set up in a democratic, accountable way; it was always seen as a clique and that left it marginalised and ready to self-destruct. Also, we're a tidy bunch ;-) 2] No links with them at all and time for that position. We can't do much about the process excep[t as individuals [lobby AMs, MP Councillors etc] because the Trust cannot act until formed and by then the whole planning process will be resolved [if not, :-(] 3] Good question. We will need to negotiate the details of this [and discuss it among ourselves], but occasional access to office facilities would be good. |

Sorry for the lack of contribution to this over the last couple of weeks - I've been on holiday in Scotland! There are three main objectives of the Trust: 1. To raise funds for the direct benefit of Llanelli RFC ltd - what categories would this constitute? a. direct support of the Scarlets/junior/academy teams b. to improve the matchday experience at New/Stradey. Any more? Can we think of examples of small/med/large scale projects that potentially could be undertaken by the Trust e.g. purchase training equipment for Academy, involvement in fundraising for player testimonial season, purchase of large banners Munster 'stand up and fight' style for visual profile at all games, purchase of stadium facilities, buying in of pre/post match entertainment 2. To act as a means of integrating supporters and a focal point for fans e.g. Organise away travel, formally arrange venues for away matches and occcasional pre match entertainments, be media and supporter contacts 3. To act as a formally constituted democratic supporters body, providing a voice for supporters and a means of formal communication between club and supporters. |

Very well put Mike, If we can arrange those into an easily digested list, (The simpler, the better to get the message across) it should be fairly easy to convince SG of the benefits of backing the Trust. |
