Watching it now on BBC Alba.

Linesman called foul play for an alleged use of the elbow by Herring of Ulster. Ref had blown for a pen to Ulster.

Ref, Lacey asked for a review by the TMO, but the camera moved away and so there was no video evidence of the alleged use of the elbow by Herring on a Glasgow player's head.

Lacey then went back to his original decision i.e. the pen to Ulster.

Shouldn't the pen have gone to Glasgow ? Pre TMO review of foul play, the ref would have gone on the word of the linesman and awarded the pen to Glasgow for foul play. linesman was clear about what he saw.

Refs out there, was Lacey correct to dismiss the advice of the linesman ?

By the way, we complain about Irish refs, well Ulster are doing quite well so far from Mr Lacey the Irishman !!!!!
