I'm led to believe he was more homesick than anything else, and with regan back in NZ too, wasn't much to keep him here, no family etc

Seems rather strange that he never featured again. PR stunt maybe?

Playing for Western Force under 20’s in Perth.
Inrestingly hust a read an article about Regan King whose next move is to the States

“After this season King's off to America, where he's signed on with a club in Texas for the next three years, in a player/coach role. Coaching is where he sees his future, and he's hoping to pick up a few tips from his old mate Dunlea during his stint in Mid Canterbury.”

If he can pass. On a small part of his talent any back line will improve under his tutelage

Thats interesting. I read recently that Mike Ford is involved as  director of Rugby at a club inTexas. He is charged with developing what is seen as huge potential for Rugby in America.
