League points, that is.
Things are poised quite nicely for us to climb a few places in the run in. Most of our close rivals have difficult fixtures.

I’m trying to be optimistic here!
We're still still here, but I wish we were in an Anglo-Welsh

It’ll all depend on how strong they go I’d imagine

I’ve heard Carwyn has got the nod for Leinster but not clear if that’s starting or not. Any news on Sam?

We'll have to stay within 7 pts, can't see us getting 4 tries, our attack is not firing. if Eddie's back to get us over the gain line it would be nice bonus.

We are their bogey team and they should have learned their lesson by sending a B team last time. I’m not expecting anything other than a thumping TBH but you never know nothing to loose everything to gain

Its a free hit really, no one (realistically) will expect us to get much out there. Maybe more so that they just suffered defeat in Glasgow and will want to get back to winning ways. Could and probably will bring in most of their Irish test players, Lions most of them, lets just give it a go, our best go maybe get us a bonus point, but after this round we wont have to leave Wales again this season, these are the games we must go after!

I saw  the highlights  of the Glasgow v Leinster game.
Leinster were STUFFED, so will want to get back quickly to,winning ways.
It's unlikely  they will field anything but a really strong side.
Scarlets  will need to play for 80 mins, unlike the 40  against Zebre.
Games like this are a shot to nothing, and the days when we woukd go to Dublin with Shingler, ken,Cawdor, Foxy etc, are distant dreams.

The defeat to Glasgow with maybe not even half a side of their first choice 23, coupled with us being the only opposition to warm up ahead of their Champions Cup tie v the not so mighty Edinburgh could go one of two ways.

The more likely is that they restore their first choice internationals to bring cohesion ahead of the match they’re really bothered about.

Less likely is that they think, « It’s only Edinburgh and they’re a bit poor this year. We can beat Scarlets easily. Let’s give our main folk another week’s rest so that there’s no issue in playing either Sale Sharks, more likely than Harlequins, at home (again) »

My take is that we have very little hope of any points. Leinster are well below their normal URC position & finishing outside the top 4 is not an option. I see them reacting to Saturday's result in selection & performance. Our discipline & lack of power will kill us.

Rest anyone of our starting 15 with a knock & don't risk Costelow. 2 weeks off to prepare & attack the 4 remaining games.

Sam is back, looks like CLJ back to school for his A-Levels and remainder of SRC season.

I expect a bonus point win nothing else will do.
Nothing to lose it’s about time our back line really fire, they have been poor as a collective all season perhaps this is the ideal game to throw caution into the wind and produce a performance to grace the Scarlet shirt.
She asks why i still can't answer. I guess its in the blood.

Leinster will not risk letting Scarlets get a 2nd win in 2 seasons, they'll be mostly fully loaded I expect and looking for the bonus point and a big points difference.

If our scrum goes like it did vs Zebre and Edinburgh we'll have parity in the set piece, I fancy us for 2-3 tries and a penalty or two but logic says it ends up 31-17 or something.  All even at half time and we make hard work of it for them, but they steal a couple of soft tries late on to win with a bonus point.

Think Leinster will probably go full strength as Europe is the following week so will want players to get game time,we have nothing to lose so hopefully a full squad to pick from and go for it

It's never an easy place to go is it, any form of return will be huge for us. Best bet is keeping 15 on the pitch for the full 80 mins....
