W/E 29th Sept - 1 Oct - No Welsh teams playing

Does that mean that there is an International on that weekend or squad committments?

Looks like the best option is Thursday 21st September, which was our original best date if I remember rightly?

Agreed on that Abbey, only problem will be publicising the Open Meeting with only one other home game.  I'm sure we'll get around that somehow, but it makes it even more important that we get something in the Gloucester home game programme.

Can we really try and approach Stephen on Sunday and get a provisional 'yes' or 'no' (I can't be there myself) as we need to get this letter away to SG ASAP.

If I don't manage to see Steve before Sunday, I'll do my best to speak to him then. He has'nt been in the Ferry this week at alll as far as I can see.

Does anyone know if they're training in Stradey tomorrow? If so I'll try and catch him there.

I agree with you about the urgency Mike, time's running short. My only other suggestion would be to send the letter, offering SG the option of either nominating a 'face',or, alternatively, giving him the option of having us approach Stephen, so that the rest of the information at least gets to him as soon as possible.

Hi Mike,

Just spoke to Stephen at Stradey, and subject to his availability and approval from the Club, (In other words, SG), He would be happy to chair the Open Meeting.

He asked about the date, and I told him it was likely to be on the Wed/ Thur before the first home CL game. And he requested that we put it in writing to Stuart.

If you can forward the letter ASAP, with an addendum indicating that we have spoken to Stephen, and his response, we can hopefully get everything going.

Also mentioned to Stephen that at least some of us would be at Pontyberem on Sunday.

D.

Hi all,

I've amended the letter slightly. The formatting has gone funny so no paragraphs at the moment! Regarding the content, could you all confirm weather it's ok to go to SG or any more amends?

Nice work Mike, I think that's as good as it gets. The sooner it goes to SG now the better, (If everyone agrees with the content).
