WRU decide the price though, a tenner should mean a big drop in possible attendance. Quins fans will prob make up the majority of the crowd, which I predict will struggle to top 500, it's a biggre day for them than Llanelli fans. I begrudge paying a ten spot to watch a semi pro cup match. Then again, i'm a self admitted part time supporter of semi pro rugby!

I agree £10 is way over the top!! You will find that at that price Llanelli fans will outnumber the Quins fans. At the end of the day (and I posted this on the old message board) we are two feeder clubs of the scarlets why oh why dont the prices get dropped for this game, its absolute nonsense that the price is set by the WRU it is set by the Home club, why dont you drop the price to £5 or even £3 to get a bigger crowd in. At the end of the day the money gets split between the two clubs and the WRU.

£10 is just absoultely ridiculous and on top of this you have to pay for parking and a programme. But then its just another example of poor thinking and management.

To the best of my knowledge the WRU have always set the prices for cup matches, as it's their cup. Same with the Celtic cup last season, The club didn't have much say in it as it was run by the Celtic League, as well as this season. If we get home draws then presumably it's all to pay. The clubs merely have a share in whatever money the wru/celtic league make (apart from bar takings etc).

In the age of semi pro cup rugby it's asking a lot to shell out a tenner, plus as you said QB, parking, plus a few sherberts etc.

I think this comment by Mr Lloyd Evans is very downgrading for the Quins! Who do you think you are please? Why is it a "bigger" day for Carmarthen? This Llanelli team aren't the Scarlets, they arent't a class apart! Yes they get treated differently as they are silver spooned in Llanelli there, but at the end of the day, they are in the same league, are equal on wins against this year so dont be so patronising Mr Lloyd!

As history goes it probably is a bigger day for the Quins because the team Carmarthen Quins has never played in a Quarter final before wheras the Name Llanelli RFC has played in many and also many finals and won the cup.

Still amazed atthe price though for entry, please tell me that that is for the Stand and not the terrace or is it one amount all round?

I agree Quinsboy, but history doesn't come into it! Its the present that counts and I dont like the way Mr Evans was making out that the Quins are smaller than Llanelli so its a bigger day!! Just annoyed me,

This price was quoted over the tannoy at last Sundays Blues game. Then again all the signs said it was a 5:30 kick off.
