Wanderers remain top of National One West and play Aber tomorrow in Stradey with the wonderful time of 2.30pm ! Weather seems set fair thankfully!

I shall pop down and Scarlet Pimp , all being well, plans to come down as well for a chat so if any other local Fever members with an afternoon to spare are interested โ€œ come on down โ€œ as that quiz guy used to say! A Llanelli team playing in Stradey .. canโ€™t be bad ๐Ÿ˜‰

Not sure  whether this is a league, or he re-run of the POSTPONED  cup match against the same opposition.
As Reesy says ,its a chance to see rugby in the daylight for a change.
I am sure URC/ television bods think we in west wales are all moles or vampires and only come out at night !LOL

Have been meaning  to join and support a great local club like wanderers for a while.
Not only are they a good side ATM, but they run an excellent junior section and girls team.
They deserve our support. I will now be joining, even if I do'nt see every game.

The great thing about rugby, is that you get to meet people and make new friends.
Being on SCARLETFEVER, has therefore been a great step in this direction, as the Castres trip proved a rip roaring success, thanks to GPR.

TATA Steel today - an all ticket affair..probably on the box as the might Emlyn are visiting.

Emlyn and Wanderers likely to be in the same league next season so an open invite from me for a day out when Wanderers visit Ddol Wiber ...I'll book a pre match lunch etc.

Proper West Wales welcome awaits.,,,Google translate on every table

This is a league game with Aberystwyth, the next cup game, which is last 8, is 2 weeks to-day v Llandudno, a warm welcome to all with hopefully a traditional sing a long after the game.

Due to circumstances I doubt I'll be there today, but I will catch up with Scarlet Pimp,& Reesy soon.
Be careful when you pick up the stick.........IT MAY BE THE WRONG END!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent day at Llanelli Wanderers with Scarlet Pimp and some familiar faces including forum member Once a Monkey ( Steve Hiscocks) and some former Rfc supporters . Wanderers won 48-0 against a Aber side that never gave up to be fair. Coach Sean Gale ( Normanโ€™s son) is building a very decent team there and with Rev Eldon on the mic as well ๐Ÿ‘

Buzzing club house and the traditional chicken and rice curry on paper plates ! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Half season ticket for £15 over 60โ€™s including free programme. So much going for community rugby. Whether you support the Wanderers or any other home club, do make an effort to get down the club. 2.30 pm daylight KOโ€˜s as well ! Nothing to hate ๐Ÿ‘

Reesy has it nailed it there completely
So many Llanelli RFC "Refugees" like myself there, finding a new home, but I say that (as a former Wanderer myself) in a positive way, as the whole vibe was fantastic.
Excellent, well organised, totally focused unit on the pitch and equally well organised off it.
Most important of all , the welcome, is outstanding.
I am now a member, and will be supporting as often as possible.
Hopefully, a few others from SF will think about it as well , as we can meet up, over a pint !
Rugby is , as I have said previously a great way of getting people together, whatever your background.
Something I have learnt as I have got older, is that friendship makes the world go round.
Reesy was outstanding company, and even bought me a pint !LOL

I think local rugby teams will eventually be the biggest winners out of all this, itโ€™s hard now with a lot of teams in the region not being able to field sides, but people who are/were season ticket holders for the Scarlets will either return to play or watch local rugby, and with us all having an affinity with a team where we started loving the game, can only be a good thing.
