From the South Wales Evening Post website:

BYRNE MISSES VISIT TO PONTY

10:00 - 09 March 2005
Llanelli are without full-back Lee Byrne for tonight's Welsh Premiership match at Pontypridd. Byrne picked up a groin injury in the emphatic win over Pontypool on the weekend and misses out on the trip to Sardis Road.

Llanelli hand the No. 15 jersey to Andy Williams in a side showing six changes from the one that racked up 10 tries in the 58-12 win at Stradey Park.

With centre Gavin Evans back on Wales Under-21 duty this week, Jon Rimmer partners Richard Davies in midfield, with Daniel Rogers, who claimed two tries as a replacement on Saturday, starting on the right wing.

The experienced Chris Macdonald returns at scrum-half, while Mark Roberts comes in at lock in place of new regional signing Dave Duley, who damaged knee ligaments on Saturday and could face a number of weeks on the sidelines.

Llanelli, who beat Pontypridd 44-8 at Stradey in November, are currently joint second in the Premiership table with Newport, six points adrift of leaders Neath having played three games more.
