NRL salaries are huge, big punt on a player who has never played pro rugby union in his life. Sam Burgess is hardly ripping it up for Bath is he? ps well doen to crys and to all the coaches who turned up, great stuff and you should be applauded for it |

Blackwood. Genuine question here because I don't watch all that much League -which position would you play him in if we could afford him? |

He played union as a kid, and travelled Wales with Australia school boys. So think he would be pretty comfortable at 12 I think. Similar situation to new Paramatta Eels star Tepai Moeroa. Played most his rugby in union (12/13) growing up, playing for Australian schools until recently, but then been given an NRL contract. Think these type of players can switch between codes pretty comfortably. Think he'd be affordable, just not sure we would be looking to invest that much into a center with a limited budget.

I agree, however, the impact King had on Saturday I believe we should be investing heavily in cryogenic technology to ensure he never ages and is available every weekend for the next 125 years. Alternatively, if he can pass on some of his skills to Adam Warren or a centre of that ilk we'll be fine. |

TBH centre and wings are the easiest positions to switch codes from but we are well stocked at centre do we need to take a gamble on him? that teo guy scored a good try on the weekend but has hardly been a star for leinster. This guy would likely be behind scott king and parkes, at centre and is going to be on six figure plus salary. I'd rather spend that on a proven 8 tbh |

Loved Finau growing up, so selfishly would love another Tongan throwing his weight around in a Scarlets jersey (especially a WQ Tongan) However probably not the right time to take that type of punt of an unproven centre, especially when other areas of our squad are thinner.
Would love one of the other regions to take a punt on him though. All for investing heavily in cryogenic technology to keep Regan with us for many more years. Makes rugby look simple, which is a hard thing to do. Out of interest does King have any children? If he does, hopefully his rugby brain has been passed onto them.

Forget another centre. Think a year ahead. Keep a space for Jon to return when Regan retures.

Would rather give Adam Warren go never let us down rather than buying rugby league player as rugby league players rarely do well in Union other than Robinson can't think of many others cue responses.

Slightly off topic - it's interesting how the use of substitutions and game time has changed since the change of management.
Subs are being used less and not when the game clock says X. They're being introduced dependent on the state of the game, injuries apart. As an example, even though Steve Shingler is going to be our first choice 10 next season, think back to how little time he had off the bench. So, there could be some surprises yet amongst the less used members of the squad as far as next season goes. |

Could Frizzell play on the wing or 15 - that is, is he fast/ skilful enough? because that's the only position we might argue that we sometimes need.
Am I also the only one who thought Finau was a poor player, initially using his power to brush opponents out of the way, but as opposition players got to know him he became less and less successful. And his lack of pace a real liability on a par with his straight arm tackling. |
