I dont think I said anything in my post about diving in headfirst at a helpless guy on the floor's head. Stand by my comments that the Rhys Thomas incident was a shocker and he's a lucky boy. And I still cant believe your defending that SM. Rhys wanted to go in and give him a shoeing and actually started to, but the ref wasnt having it, had Rhys stepped away or pointed Horgan out to the ref, we would have had a penalty and Horgan would have been yellow carded.

You can still however smash people at the contact, 'clearing out' is fine and as long as its done legally with the shoulder and arm, no problemo!

TIM, TIM ,TIM...you have got to let this 'Luckiness' statement go. I defended him along with my learned colleague Mr Loft Evans, as the man was innocent. I watched the event in slow motion a number of times. He was cited and had to face a tribunal.which you say was lucky!!!!!.
You have to let this go ...in this instance you were wrong and have proven to be wrong(along with many other posters)
Its now the time to do three things
1- Drop this line of arguement
2- Aologise along with others on here to Mr Thomas
3- Buy yourself a dictionary and look up the meaning of lucky......i dont know where you had your current meaning from

Lucky .....the fact that Munster finish most games with 8 forwards on the pitch.

Imo he was lucky, lucky that Adam Jones got injured for the lions. Had he not been in line for a Welsh place, he would have gone down.

I guess you'll be expecting an apology from Nigel and his coaching staff too, because if they thought like you, that he was innocent, he would have played up in Glasgow, wouldnt he?

So that's 98% of people on here, the experts on Scrum V and our coaching team who all thought he was a naughty boy.

Your probably right though, what with you being in the S3 Brains trust and all. Wink
