Narberth v Whitland great game of rugby

   Went to watch Narberth v Whitland last night.
It was a great game of rugby played in front of a large crowd.

Narberth just came out on top 24-23.

Tom Bonnell the Narberth winger had a great game and imo could certainly make the step up to the premiership.

Hes a Trimsaran boy and looks better every time i see him play.

I was also impressed by Whitland centre Andrew  Pickersgill. he had very neat  touches and read the game well.. a good footballing centre and another player certainly good enough for at least the premiership.

James Davies brother of Foxy played well for Whitland too.

Nice to see the brawd mawr watching the younger brawd.

	I Also went down to watch this 'western derby' ..brilliant game..narberth winning 17-0 at the half. with outstanding play between the forwards (great ball carrying 4) and backs (great kicking 10, strong 12) Steve marting and Tom Bonnell also looked very good. The 2nd half was the opposite. whitland begun there points scoring. Pigersgill very good along with foxy's brother. great 8 for them. brilliant go forward momentum. last few plays of the game...whitland score in the corner..19-20 to narberth with a touchline conversion to come..he misses! Full time 19 20 to narberth. brilliant spectacle of grass roots rugby. both deserve to be in the new national championship. would have been great televised. was told in the club after there was around 1500 there! brilliant!
