Given how easy it has been in the past for nutters to murder soldiers and mp's surely something needs to be done about security at matches,2 weeks on the trot we have had people get to the pitch and close to the players and officials it would only take one nutter to do some serious harm to someone, the days of erika roe are over.

Spot on Nigel - the same lad who lined up next to the AB's last weekend actually did the very same thing in Japanese kit in Dublin - where is the security? It will be too late when something very serious occurs.

Millennium stadium has the most tacky atmosphere on international days. No drink should be served during games,  this is a huge moneyspinner for the WRU so not going to happen.
Nothing more annoying than the daffodil head brigade as it just makes us a laughing stock.

Not sure what was worst-the sight of that fool running onto the pitch,or the shots of all those people throwing beer when he was being led away.Disgusting,bear-pit scenes.Far too much drinking is encouraged in the stadium, and I'm sure others have heard the frequent,if not regular, reports of fights occurring.I think it's time to change things.

We've seen this happen twice now in two games, can't help but feel some kind of barriers should be installed between the pitch and the crowd - like we have at PYS.

No barrier at all at the Principality Stadium.
Think, think, think - it's a thinking man's game!! - The Great Carwyn James.
Just for our SA friends - Weste is die beste!

There is a wall and and advertising hoarding  much the same as we have at Parc y scarlets.

There are more important things to make new laws about than drunken idiots.  The legal and justice system system in the UK is already stretched to breaking point.  The jails need to be utilised for  serious criminals not show offs.

Great idea, be prepared to pay higher taxes for the privelige then.
What is allowed to go on in the Stadium is the responsibility of the owners, the WRU.  They have lost control and should lose their licence to stage big events if the city council deem it appropriate.  Yes I know it's highly unlikely
but pitch invasions are not police issues unless a law has been broken.

For what it's worth, the South African covering defence would have smashed Liam into the advertising boards before he would have got near the try line.

There must be a fine? I'd imagine if this was a four figure sum then few would do it. Plus add a criminal record on to it as well.

What is the current punishment out of interest?

Put the offender in the defensive line against the Boks pack for their next possession.

Make him watch the Ospreys next 5 matches - OK, that's a bit cruel for a civilised nation to inflict and we'd probably be taken to a human rights court - maybe the next two then.

As it's a stadium security issue I would imagine a long ban would be as hard as they can go.  I doubt it's a police matter unless he committed a crime like assault.  He was more likely a victim of assault himself, though I don't think he'd be wise to pursue a case.
